In its sixteen chapters the study guide conveys the concepts, principles, and techniques that are needed for successfully passing the exams. The topics covered include the relation between MySQL AB and the MySQL software products, using the MySQL Client, Data Definition Language, basic and advanced SQL, architectural and security aspects of MySQL as well as performance tuning and advanced server features.

What makes the MySQL Certification Study Guide so valuable while preparing for on of the exams is the fact that each chapter is concluded with a set of questions that is similar to the actual exam question for the topic covered in the chapter.
