Syncing information between databases and mobile devices is a key issue facing the wireless data industry. Funambol CEO Fabrizio Capobianco will illustrate how to integrate SyncML, MySQL, and Funambol's mobile application server to synchronize email, calendar and contact info, and customer-defined MySQL data to PDAs and mobile phones. The discussion will include guidance on where to use off-the-shelf code, and where the user (or the community) needs to develop or extend custom functionalities.
